As discussed earlier, passion is one of the most important traits in your life.
Having passionate relationships with people and things are what makes us happy. We feel motivated to do things because they bring out something powerful inside of us.
On the other hand, we can become too focused on our passions and lose sight of what else is worth investing time into.
This article will talk about eight different types of passion and how you can use them to strengthen your passion for reading.
The environment
This is another important reason why it’s so hard to stay in a relationship with little passion. Because, as we discussed before, feeling passionate about your partner takes work.
It requires effort – emotional effort at least.
And when there's not much of an energy exchange happening, then no one feels good. And if you don't feel great, then chances are you won't put in the effort that you should be putting into this relationship.
You'll stop trying to make it work because you just don't feel like it.
So either you break up or you keep going through the motions while both of you are unhappy.
Which usually leads to more broken hearts and lots of hurt feelings — and sometimes even violence.
Does this sound familiar? It shouldn't!
Relationships take work but they should be worth it. If you're investing your time, love, and energy into someone, then you deserve a lot better than what you're getting out of this.
If you ever feel like breaking up is the best option, remember that there's always next month, next week, or tomorrow.
Don't give up. Don't allow yourself to become too discouraged.
Give your self some grace and understand that things will probably never get completely resolved until you decide to do something about it.
Start by acknowledging that your current situation isn't ideal and maybe looking for a way to improve it.
Social justice
What is social justice? It’s making sure that everyone has access to resources they need to live a healthy, happy life.
Social justice comes down to something much more fundamental than whether or not someone has enough money to survive. It goes beyond food and shelter by including things like healthcare, education, and safety.
It includes ensuring equal opportunity in areas such as employment, free speech, and democracy. It also means protecting the environment and providing adequate housing for all.
In other words, it’s about giving people what they want and need to be happier and healthier. In our increasingly interconnected world, this idea applies globally rather than just locally.
As global citizens, we have an obligation to contribute to social justice in our own country and abroad. This is why it’s important to are passionate — and sometimes outspoken — about social issues.
It’s why some people can go through their lives without ever meeting anyone who isn’t like them. They never experience racism, sexism, classism, or any of the other types of discrimination that exist around them.
For these individuals, social injustice doesn’t affect them directly, so they don’t take action. And since they remain oblivious to the injustices happening close to home, they fail to recognize their own complicity in creating conditions that allow oppression to thrive.
