When you show passion for something, it can motivate others to feel the same way. Whether you are talking about sports, gaming, or music, if you really care about what you love, people will notice!
There’s a reason why so many people grow up dreaming of being famous – we all have a desire to tell other people things that they probably don’t know already. It is because we are passionate and confident in ourselves, and want to share that with other people.
Being famous is great, but not everyone gets to enjoy that feeling. A few people may envy your reputation, but most people will think you are crazy.
However, there are ways to achieve this without having a big audience. You can be well-known among your friends as someone who is friendly and dependable, or you can be familiar to some people and more prominent within your field. Either way, showing passion for the things you love can make you happy.
This article will talk about how to apply these ideas to crossword puzzles. There are several types of crosswords, and each one requires different levels of skill and time to improve upon.
Love what you do
We’ve all seen it done well before – someone who loves what they do for a living, who feels passionate about it, and thus, are very successful at it.
Their success comes not only from their talent but also because of how much they love what they do.
If you want to be more like that person, you have to really value what you put in into your life. You have to feel passion for it!
And I don’t mean just saying “I enjoy doing this so I must be good at it” or even “It pays the bills so I should stick with it.”
You have to actually LOVE what you are doing!
Why? Because if you don’t, then chances are you won’t put in as much effort into it. You will probably give up partway through, which would be wasteful.
Or maybe you will keep going, but half-heartedly, which is no better. At least if you don’t love what you are doing, you’ll know there is something wrong with it.
But if you do, then you’re already giving your best every time you pick up your pen or take out your keyboard, you’re investing your energy in an activity you truly care about, and that gives you true joy.
Let’s look at the word optimism in relation to passion. What does it mean?
Optimism is having an expectation of good happening, or something being done or achieved. It is feeling confident that things will work out well.
When we have lots of reasons to be pessimistic, it can drown out other more positive messages in our lives. We may also start believing those negative messages, so even when there are signs that show us life is going well, we don’t acknowledge them because we aren’t looking for what could go wrong.
This way, we stop ourselves from celebrating any success, and we don’t recognize all of the hard work that got us here!
It takes a lot of effort to keep yourself motivated, and sometimes you need some breaks. You might feel like giving up but if you remember why you started this journey in the first place, then your heart will tell you to keep moving forward.
Keeping a level head and remembering how to celebrate life helps you find your passion.
If you want to know what your passion is, try exploring it. Talk about it with people who have it, read books and articles about it, and do whatever makes you happy related to it.
You never know, one thing you passionate about right now might change later, so enjoy what you have while you can.
Let’s look at our first crossword clue of the day! “Play hard” can refer to anything from playing sports, to reading a book, to doing something you love, to going after what you want. It is usually used as an adjective, but it can also be a noun or verb.
When we play hard, we are putting in a lot of effort into whatever activity we are involved in. We are investing energy in that activity, which makes us feel good. It gives us happiness.
Find your passion and those who feel the same
When you find your passion, you will know it. It is like knowing someone else when they talk about their favorite movie or book. You already have a connection with them, and if you want to see this person succeed, then you should be willing to help them pursue their dreams.
People are drawn to things that make them happy. We're constantly looking for these experiences in our lives, so why not try finding one that makes you happy and go after it!
If you love dancing, start teaching yourself how to dance. If you enjoy reading, begin taking classes to learn how to read. Whatever your passion is, invest time into it to bring out the best in you.
Now, some may say that spending time on your passion could take away from other areas of your life, but only if you’re investing the right amount of time into it. If you’re only putting in an hour per day, then you’re wasting your investment.
Never lose your passion
When you start to feel tired or bored with something, it’s time to make changes. If you love doing something, then try finding ways to make that thing more fun!
If you have given up on something because you didn’t feel passionate about it, then don’t give up. You are not wrong for feeling this way, but now is not the time to give up.
Think of all the things you loved as a kid. Playing sports was your favorite pastime. You might have even wished you could play professional football like Peyton Manning.
Maybe you were really into drawing and painting back in grade school. Maybe you wanted to be an artist when you grew up.
Whatever your passion is, go out there and find it again. Don’t give up and think that life has passed you by.
When you start showing an interest in something, people will notice! They’ll admire your passion and want to be like you. They’ll ask how you got so into that thing and maybe even try the thing out for themselves.
Interacting with passionate individuals is a great way to develop friendships. We all have different interests and things we are interested in, so why not enjoy sharing these things?
As mentioned before, developing relationships is one of the most important parts of living a happy life. Having friends who share your same passions is a key element in this.
When someone notices your enthusiasm for a topic, they will usually get immediately drawn in by it. This can happen through talking about the topic or looking at examples of what you like.
If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed or tired when you’ve been engaging in a activity for a while, then consider quitting!
Taking a break is totally fine every now and then, especially if you need to give yourself a rest. You should never feel pressured to keep going unless you really want to!
I’d recommend staying for a few minutes after taking a break to make sure you don’t lose momentum and then deciding whether to continue later. It’s also good to know when you’ve had enough.
Let’s look at an example of how to do something with passion. I will use my own experience as a student to show you. When I was in high school, I loved reading. I would spend hours every day going through my bookshelves and library collections, finding new stories to read.
At the time, I didn’t have much money so I would either have to find things online or borrow them from the local library. But no matter what, I always made sure I had my beloved book with me wherever I went!
I can still remember many times when I wouldn’t leave the house without my book. Even if I had to go somewhere for an hour, I would carry my bag just for that, so I could bring my book along.
It is funny now looking back because really, I wasn’t too busy during those years! I barely even noticed I was spending so much time reading because I was immersed in literature!
Now that I am older and have more responsibilities, I realize how important it was for me then. My studying improved due to all the hard work I put into it, and I eventually got good grades which allowed me to take advanced courses and get better jobs.
My love of reading helped shape who I am today and influenced me greatly. It is one of the greatest passions I have, and it is easy to see why it played such a big part in my life.
Develop your passion
When you start doing something, whether it’s washing dishes or surfing for information, you need to be passionate about it. You have to love what you do!
It is very important to like what you are doing. If you don’t, then you will put in an effort that isn’t really there. You will show up half-heartedly, which doesn’t help anyone.
If you watch someone who is totally immersed in their job, you’ll see them glowing with enthusiasm. They look and feel happy while they are working, and this shows through.
On the other hand, you'll probably notice people who work hard but never seem particularly engaged by what they are doing. They may even slack off a little bit after putting in a lot of effort.
Such people can run into trouble because they lack motivation. If you don't enjoy what you're doing, then why should you keep going? - Rachel Hannah
Good luck being motivated every day when you're tired and busy after spending hours each week struggling through how much you dislike your job.
This won't change unless you find a way to get past these feelings in yourself. It could be trying out different things at your workplace, looking for new opportunities, talking to colleagues about the area and your career, getting advice from others – anything that opens your eyes to alternative careers.
Alternatively, you could consider changing jobs for more satisfying employment.
