When it comes to showing passion for something, we as humans seem to have lost that knack. With the quick-trigger nature of our society and culture today, people are not really given opportunities to show strong emotion for things.
We are constantly being exposed to too much unnecessary noise and stimuli that cloud our perception and make us feel tired or stressed out. This is very common these days due to the speed at which technology moves.
In this article, I will be talking about how to show more passionate levels of love for things through the use of three different tools. These tools can be used separately or all together depending on your situation and what you’re trying to achieve.
I will discuss their benefits and examples using each one.
Thumbs up
Speaking with passion is a great way to win over others, it can be fun to do so, and it can help you achieve your goals.
When you are trying to get someone to agree to do something, showing enthusiasm is a good thing to do. You want to show them how much you want what they have wanted for a long time, or why they should give in now.
It sounds crazy but when given enough time, people will feel passionate about things that matter to them. They will become invested in these matters, and will try hard to ensure that these things stay strong.
Throw down
There is such a thing as passion with limits. You can show strong passion for something without going all-in. It’s like having a favorite flavor of food — you could eat it every day, but that wouldn’t make you love it more than other flavors.
When you get into the zone about an activity or area of life, you lose track of time and don’t care what happens next. But when you’re not feeling it, you feel like you’ve got to hit the wall and break things off before you do something you won’t regret.
This doesn’t mean there are no future plans for those people, just that this particular plan isn’t working at the moment. If someone has gotten in your passion, they may have made you feel good for a little while, but now it’s time to say goodbye.
Throwing down means letting go with caution, but still coming away with your dignity intact.
